Mission
Mission Statement
The mission of the Happy Valley Police Department, in partnership with the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, is to be a progressive and innovative organization that promotes, delivers, and preserves an assurance of security, safety, and quality law enforcement services to all people of the City of Happy Valley. Annual Public Safety Report 2011

The Happy Valley Police force serves a growing eight and a half square mile area with a population of 14,000 residents. 10 full-time patrol officers, a detective, a community service officer, and the police administration are stationed in the Community Policing Center. They serve the public as a safety hub where citizens can report crime, obtain information, have questions answered or meet with an officer.

Serving the Community
Aside from their top priorities: to provide service for the preservation of life, the protection of property, and the general safety and well being of our citizens, Happy Valley Police are also focused on being strong community partners. Education is one of their best tools as they reach out to the eager kindergartner or the sage senior citizen.

Participating in classroom education, the Safety Fair, National Night Out, and other community events, the HVPD are the friendly, reliable faces that our citizens support.
